Part of a health-care law could be that all employers *must* provide a work-free day per year for a routine checkup, and having this provision actually enforced. They're too rational. The one thing we need to keep hammering is that any health insurance system MUST NOT be able to refuse to cover sick people, and healthy people MUST NOT be able to opt out (except for a fee - that's good.
